Dear student and friends.

I hope this spring will be a happy one for all of you. I hope by reading this newsletter you will learn that the power of the mind is infinite, and time does not heal all wounds the mind only hides them. Sometime we are hurt by a loved one and then turn to the first person who shows us attention so we think we are in love even more than before, but it is only because we made up our mind to cover up the happiness we once had. It is sad but it is the truth, and those many memories of the past will reappear again. Osha, once said “Our mind is always changing” (see important quote at bottom of newsletter.)

Quiet the mind and learn to meditate and reach the inner smile of your subconscious mind, then peace and happiness will be yours.

To Students and Friends

Welcome to the freshness of spring and the warmth of the sun. Life and
love can be very beautiful. To love a man or woman completely is a
beautiful feeling. But if you have a lovely flower at home, then why
leave and chase a rose? Beauty is only skin deep just as below the
green grass and the rose, is soil to keep it green and beautiful. You
need to water it constantly just as you have to do in a relationship.
It needs love and care because, if not, the green grass will turn
brown and die as that of the rose.

I left Master Shun in 1977 and started learning from Master Hsu Hong-Chi in Torrance, CA. I started going to Taiwan to study with him. In 1978, he took me in as an indoor student and taught me Taoist Lovemaking, Hsing-I, acupressure, chi kung, and snake medicine. He started visiting my home and taught me advanced training. He would also go to my kung fu school in the evening to watch and teach. I stayed with him until he died in 1984. I loved and respected Master Hsu very much.

This is the same loyalty and respect my students have shown me as they helped me run the school while I was training in Taiwan, knowing that when I returned, they would learn new things and hear new stories. We were a kung fu family. In 1984 I had the honor to meet Master Chiao Chang-Hung and he introduced me to Master Pan Wing-Chou and Master Chin Chi -Yin (www.littleningheaven.com ). They accepted me as their first American student. I trained every year in Taiwan with them and they would come to my house in California once a year and teach me more also. I would train hard in Taiwan with all three teachers every day at different times of the day as the years went on until their deaths: first Master Pan, then Master Chin, and last Master Chiao. I flew back to Taiwan for their funerals and mourned the loss of my teachers.

First of all I hope all of you will remember this beautiful day called
Valentine’s Day, and hope you will remember your love one. This is how
it all started years ago

Saint Valentine's Day, commonly shortened to Valentine's Day,[ is a
holiday observed on February 14th. It was first established by
Pope Gelasius I in 496 AD, and was later deleted from the General
Roman Calendar of saints in 1969 by Pope Paul VI.

The day first became associated with romantic love in the circle of
Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of
courtly love flourished. By the 15th century, it had evolved into an
occasion in which lovers expressed their love for each other by
presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards
(known as "valentines").

Enjoy this beautiful day with the one you love if she is far away let
her know you love her more than life itself and feel her love as she
is with you in your hear forever.
